Temple and turtles?

Mostly just pictures in this post when we were in Columbia, SC we went to see the temple and just took some pictures and while Ryan was still here we went to the aquarium and Wrenley loved it she kept saying "Oh WOW" to every fish or turtle she saw. So enjoy!

Ryan likes to hand her sticks for some reason

She thought it was really funny!

she really like the fish

I think she would climb in if she could

here she could actually climb in :( I am sure they discourage that kind of behavior

an otter

this is an albino alligator and he didn't move a muscle he just sat there waiting in the water

favorite picture this thing is as scary in person as it looks in the picture

a whole eco-system

more sharks

Crazy fish with fins on the top and bottom and the sides

I tried to get a picture to show how tall this tank was

they had a bald eagle on display as well

this was a nice park area outside of the aquarium

The Ryman

As some of you may know the Ryman is an old theatre that housed and at times still does the Grande Ole Opry I heard about it a lot growing up probably because my Dad is pretty into Country and Bluegrass which incidentally Bluegrass was started at the Grand Ole Opry I learned that on our tour. It was originally a non-denominational church that they turned into a theatre which is you look it really does look like a church especially in the stain glass window's and on the outside. It really reminded me of a smaller version of the Tabernacle in Salt Lake City with the beautiful wooden benches and oval like room they even mentioned on the tour that the Ryman was second only to the Tabernacle in acoustic's. Ryan and I both loving music and appreciating all that goes with it though this was definitley the highlight of our trip! I especially loved it because it combines so many things that I love nostalgia because I have heard of the Grand Ole Opry all my life, old gorgeous buildings and places where music came to life.

The still have some awesome people come play here we are hoping to come back one day and see a concert

We got to go on stage!

We couldn't get Wren off the stage she belongs the... haha

Her dad took her under his wing because he is a rock star
